La pop-punk band statunitense State Champs ha pubblicato la title track del nuovo attesissimo album “Around The World and Back”, disponibile dal 16 ottobre via Pure Noise Records.
“Around The World And Back” è un brano che evidenzia le grandi doti artistiche della band newyorkese, capace di andare oltre alle ormai consuete chitarre distorte. La canzone infatti è un ottimo esempio di quanto gli State Champs siano abili anche in contesti acustici, coadiuvati al microfono dalla cantante dei Jule Vera, Ansley Newman.

Il 2015 è stato finora molto intenso per la pop-punk band newyorkese, iniziato con un tour di supporto agli All Time Low negli States e recentemente con un tour australiano di supporto ai 5 Seconds Of Summer. Oggi partirà invece un lungo headlining tour, che vedrà protagonisti gli State Champs questa estate negli Stati Uniti e a settembre in Europa. Attivi dal 2010, gli State Champs hanno finora pubblicato 2 EP e nel 2013 il debutto discografico “The Finer Things” giunto alla posizione #131 della Billboard Top 200. Un gruppo perennemente on the road, come dimostrano i diversi tour US/Europei al fianco di compagini come Motion City Soundtrack, Bayside, The Wonder Years, The Story So Far e festival come il Vans Warped Tour.
“Around the World and Back” vede Kyle Black (Paramore, New Found Glory, Strung Out) nelle vesti di produttore, coadiuvato dal frontman Derek Discanio.
